Addressing officers at the Army War College (AWC), Singh stated that the target is to increase defense-related exports to approximately ₹50,000 crore by 2029. He stated that army training centers are playing a vital role in preparing soldiers for future challenges. Singh noted that there have been major changes in warfare methods, including information, artificial intelligence, electromagnetic, and cyber attacks. He stated that the army needs to be equipped with both better training and equipment to counter such attacks. 


Singh stated that the Modi government is committed to strengthening integration between the three services. He stated that the government's goal is to make the country one of the strongest economic and military powers in the world. Singh said, "Economic prosperity is possible only when full attention is paid to security. Security will be strong only when the economy is strong. These two reinforce each other." The United States ranks first in purchasing military equipment from India. Products from companies operating in India like Boeing, Cummins Technologies, and Aventel are supplied to the US. These include bulletproof jackets, helmets, and electronics equipment. 

Israel is also a leading source of military equipment from India, ranking second on this list. Products from Indian companies like PLR ​​Systems, Kalyani Rafael Advanced Systems, and Adani-Elbit are exported to Israel. These include products like bulletproof jackets, helmets, and batteries. Military equipment from India is also supplied to Britain. These include bulletproof jackets, helmets, and aerospace components. These are exported by Indian companies like Cummins Technologies and Mahindra Defence. Defense-related trade between India and France has grown rapidly in recent years.
