Among the different specs and features available in the market, BenQ has also launched the GW2786TC 27 inch monitor which rotates 90 degrees.

Highlights

BenQ's GW2786TC 27 monitor was launched some time ago

It is listed on BenQ's website for Rs 18,490

It has a 27-inch display with 100 Hz refresh rate

There was a time when the monitors that came with desktops had the same look and small screens. The ever-changing technology and new innovations have also upgraded the monitor segment. Amidst the different specs and features available in the market, BenQ's GW2786TC 27 monitor has also been launched, which rotates 90 degrees. I used this monitor with thin bezels and decent looks for a few days. How is this product, let's know in First Impression.

Design

The design of BenQ Monitor GW2786TC is quite decent. This 27 inch screen size monitor has very thin bezels on three sides, which provides a good viewing experience. There is BenQ branding at the bottom. Buttons are given on the right side in the same strip, which will be useful in settings. The monitor is attached with a stand and base, which are found in its box. Its stand is quite long, which increases the scope of monitor adjustment. Apart from up and down, the monitor can also be moved forward and backward. It rotates 90 degrees, which makes reading on it, such as reading a newspaper, easy.

The model we got is in white colour. Its built quality is also strong. The base and stand are very solid. The total weight of the product is 7.9kg. Without the base, it weighs 4.9 kg and can also be wall mounted. Warranty card and safety instructions are available in the box.

Display

The screen of BenQ Monitor GW2786TC is 27 inches. This is an IPS display, in which LED backlit technology has been used. The maximum resolution of the display is Full HD (1920x1080). Its peak brightness is 250 nits. A viewing angle of 178 degrees is available, due to which the entire screen appears in front of the eyes in daily tasks.

The visuals look smooth due to the 100 Hz refresh rate. The response time of the display is also 5ms, which means it responds as soon as it connects to your device. Many picture modes like Care Mode, Coding, Color Weakness, E-Paper, Game, M-Book, Movie, Standard and User are given in it. It will be better to use e-paper or M-book mode when you rotate it vertically to read newspapers or books. It

is also important to take care of the eyes on a big screen and flicker free technology has been used in this BenQ monitor. Apart from that, it generates less bluelight. It also has brightness intelligence, which adjusts the brightness of the monitor according to the light around you.

Audio

The BenQ Monitor GW2786TC monitor has 2 speakers of 2W each. They are not very loud but produce decent sound. However, if you use it as a TV or watch movies, you will need separate speakers. The headphone jack is provided in it and its microphone supports noise cancellation.

The BenQ Monitor GW2786TC monitor has an HDMI (v1.4) port. Apart from this, there is Display Port and Display Port Out. A USB C port is provided, which offers 65W charging. There is also an option of USB Type-A port and USB 3.2 Gen. HDMI port could have been another one.

Highlights

One of the important features of BenQ Monitor GW2786TC monitor is that it has received Energy Star. This monitor has received 8.0 Energy Star. This is the latest version of Energy Star standard. In simple words, this BenQ monitor is eco-friendly and also reduces power consumption. Apart from this, the monitor firmware can be updated via USB.

My initial experience with BenQ Monitor GW2786TC 27 inch monitor is good. After using it for three to four days, I found that it does not tire the eyes much. Display colors and contrast are also balanced. Its build quality also impressed me. Due to the rough texture on the back, it maintains grip with the hands while carrying it from one place to another. It is listed on BenQ's website for Rs 18,490, which justifies the price. If you are going to buy a monitor, then you can include this in your list.
