Warkop Digital, Bengkulu's original coffee marketing solution
Bengkulu Governor Rohidin Mersyah encouraged coffee traders in his province to be able to take advantage of the digital transformation momentum by adapting the concept of the Digital Coffee Shop (Warkop).
Digital Coffee Shop is an innovation program utilizing technology and digitalization to sell original coffee products from Bengkulu Land to be sold not only in Sumatra and Nationally but also to reach international markets.
I think Digital Coffee Shop can be a triggerthe driving force for developing Bengkulu commodities whose business actors are MSMEs," said Governor Rohidin Mersyah in a written statement, Thursday.
Warkop Digital was developed by Bencoolen Coffee which is a local brand from Bengkulu and has a vision to market Benkulu coffee to foreign countries.
It is hoped that Warkop Digital can help coffee entrepreneurs in the MSME class to be able to maximize digital infrastructure in line with Indonesia's vision which expects MSMEs to go digital.
Besides being able to encourage MSMEs to go digital, Warkop Digital also provides financial literacy so that MSMEs can also maximize financial services that are increasingly inclusive.
One of the tangible results of the Digital Coffee Shop program was the inauguration of Bencoolen Coffee in Pondok Kelapa, Bengkulu some time ago.
To encourage more MSMEs in the coffee business in Bengkulu to go digital, Warkop Digital also signed a memorandum of understanding with several parties such as the Indonesian Micro and Small Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMIKIMDO), Indonesian Cooperative Youth Force (AMKI), KSP Nasari, and the Cybers Academy.
In the MoU it was agreed that all parties would support coffee MSMEs in Bengkulu to be able to develop optimally in the midst of the current digital era.
Several coffee MSME players who have joined the Digital Warkop program have also received capital assistance from BRI, BNI, Mandiri, and KSP Nasari to realize the digitized business.
