In posts on the microblogging platform Weibo , the company stated that the Redmi K90 Pro Max will feature Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Additionally, Xiaomi's new D2 AI independent display chip will enhance visual performance. The smartphone will feature a 6.9-inch OLED display.
The 7,560 mAh battery of the Redmi K90 Pro Max will support 100 W wired charging, 50 W wireless charging and 22.5 W reverse wired charging. The company has said that this smartphone will have two super-linear speakers and a large woofer tuned by Bose for better audio performance. This smartphone will have a primary camera with a 1/1.31 sensor. This sensor is also used in Xiaomi 17. Along with this, the Redmi K90 Pro Max will have a 50 megapixel ultra-wide camera and the company's first periscope telephoto camera with support for 5x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS).
A smartphone from the company was spotted on China's 3C certification site with the model number 2510DRK44C. This could be the Redmi K90. Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+ were recently launched. These smartphones have a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 90 W wired fast charging. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ uses Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, while the Note 15 Pro uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features a 6.83-inch micro-curved display with a 1.5K resolution (1,280 x 2,772 pixels), a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness level of 3,200 nits. The smartphone's triple rear camera unit includes a 1/1.55-inch 50-megapixel Light Fusion 800 camera, along with a 50-megapixel telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
