Honor Magic 8 series will be launched in China on October 16
Chinese smartphone maker Honor will soon launch the Honor Magic 8 series. The company has revealed key specifications of the Pro variant. This smartphone will feature a 200-megapixel telephoto camera and will also feature some artificial intelligence (AI) features.
Honor has revealed in a post on the microblogging platform Weibo that the Honor Magic 8 Pro will feature a 200-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/2.6 aperture. Image processing will be powered by the AIMAGE Honor Nox Engine, along with advanced image stabilization that meets the Camera and Imaging Products Association (CIPA) standards. The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
Earlier leaks had suggested that the Honor Magic 8 Pro would feature a quad-curved display and a curved rear panel. The smartphone could also feature a pill-shaped cutout on the screen, similar to the Honor Magic 7 Pro. The Honor Magic 8 Pro could have up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It could run on MagicOS 10 out-of-the-box. The Honor Magic 8 series will be launched in China on October 16th. This smartphone series is expected to include four models: the Honor Magic 8, Magic 8 Pro, Magic 8 Mini, and Magic 8 Max. The Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro could launch first, followed by the standard and Pro variants.

The Honor Magic 8 series can be launched in white, titanium gold, cyan and black colors. These smartphones can be provided with ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Their battery can support wireless charging. Honor had launched X7d 5G. This smartphone has a 6.77-inch display. It has Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 as its processor. Honor X7d 5G has a 6,500 mAh battery with support for 35 W charging. This smartphone has been introduced in 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.
