CBSE Competitive Exam Coaching: CBSE will provide coaching facilities in schools for students preparing for JEE, NEET, and CUET. The aim is to reduce dependence on expensive coaching institutes and provide quality guidance in-school. These classes will include mock tests, online resources, and classes by expert teachers.
New Delhi:
CBSE Competitive Exam Coaching: Does your child also study in a CBSE school? Are you also troubled by expensive coaching? If so, there's good news for you. Now, students will no longer have to rely on separate coaching institutes to prepare for competitive exams like JEE, NEET, and CUET. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has taken a major initiative in this direction. To this end, it is preparing to open a Center for Advanced Studies within schools.
Studying in school and preparing for competitive exams simultaneously
According to CBSE sources, these centers will provide students with coaching for competitive exams in addition to their regular school studies. The goal is to ensure students are not dependent on expensive coaching classes, to coordinate their preparation for board and competitive exams, and to provide quality guidance at the school level. The Education Ministry is also currently examining how closely the JEE and NEET papers match the 12th-grade syllabus, so that students can prepare without additional burden.
What the experts say
According to school principals, if this CBSE initiative is implemented, it will make it easier for students to balance their preparation for board and competitive exams. Most teachers also believe that this will improve the equity and quality of education.
When will the classes start?
The board stated that a roadmap and operational procedures will be sent to all schools soon. The plan is expected to be implemented with the start of the new academic session. This will also provide relief to parents, as they will no longer have to bear the additional financial burden of preparing for competitive exams. Schools will also conduct mock tests, provide online resources, and conduct classes with expert teachers, allowing students to fully understand the exam pattern and challenges.
