The significance of the nine days of Navratri, including which colour to wear on which day and which aarti to recite on which day.
On the first day of Navratri, Goddess Shailputri is worshipped. Her aarti is "Jai Ambe Gauri" or "Shailputri Mata ki Aarti." The color is saffron or red. Significance: Symbolizes strength, courage, and energy.
On the second day: An aarti (sacred ritual) dedicated to Goddess Brahmacharini is performed, known as "Brahmacharini Mata ki Aarti." Color: Pink or a lighter shade of pink. Significance: Symbolizes asceticism and restraint.
On the third day: Goddess Chandraghanta is worshipped and her aarti (the "Chandraghanta Mata ki Aarti") is performed. The color is yellow and signifies peace and beauty.
On the fourth day: An aarti (worship) is performed to Goddess Kushmanda, known as "Kushmanda Mata ki Aarti." The color is orange and signifies health and prosperity.
Fifth Day: Goddess Skandamata is worshipped and her aarti (the "Skandamata Aarti") is performed. Color: White, Significance: Symbolizes purity and peace.
