Navratri 3rd Day Bhog: The holy festival of Navratri is underway. To please Maa Adishakti, her devotees observe fasts, worship and perform various rituals. On the third day of Navratri (Navratri 3rd Day), there is a tradition of worshipping Maa Durga's Chandraghanta form. Maa Chandraghanta rides a lion. In the ten-armed Chandraghanta form, the Goddess holds a lotus and kamandalu on one side and weapons like trident, mace and sword on the other to destroy enemies. Method:
To make the kheer, heat the milk and add the rice or semolina, then cook. Add the sugar and cardamom powder and stir. Serve the kheer hot or cold.

Prepare the khoya by thickening the milk. Heat the khoya in a pan and add ghee. Fry both until golden. Once cooled, add cardamom powder and shape into pedas.
Maa Chandraghanta Puja Vidhi - (Maa Chandraghanta Puja Vidhi)
To worship Goddess Chandraghanta, one should first bathe early in the morning and meditate on her. Goddess Chandraghanta wears a crown adorned with a crescent moon and a divine bell. Therefore, in this form, the Goddess is known as Goddess Chandraghanta. Red and yellow flowers should be used to worship the Goddess. Akshat (rice flour), sandalwood paste, and sweets should be offered as offerings. It is believed that chanting mantras, lighting ghee lamps, performing aarti, and ringing the conch shell and bells pleases the Goddess.
