On Friday, Britain said in an intelligence statement that the Ukrainian forces were forced to withdraw from some areas of the city under the weight of a continuous Russian attack.

In a statement to Anadolu Agency, Nermin Aslan Turk, a resident of Baykar Houses, said that she spent a period of time in tents with her four children, before moving to her current home.
She added that she feels safer inside the prefabricated houses than in her previous home, which was damaged in the earthquake.
Aslanturk thanked all those who established the prefabricated houses in Kahramanmaraş.
On February 6, 2023, two earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 struck southern Turkey and northern Syria, followed by thousands of violent aftershocks, leaving thousands dead and massive destruction.
