Nutritionist Maria Volynkina said that magnesium, zinc and copper are beneficial chemical elements for the cardiovascular system.
Nutritionist and sports psychologist Maria Volynkina said this in an interview with the NEWS.ru website, adding that magnesium, zinc and copper provide the correct functioning of the cardiovascular system.
The Russian specialist said that magnesium should be taken in the event of disorders such as anxiety, and the lack of this chemical element seriously affects the health condition.
The specialist added, "Zinc plays a major role in the immune system and energy production, and helps with copper in ensuring the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system."
Maria Volynkina, however, points out the heart benefits of methyl B12 and folic acid. According to the expert, vitamin B12 reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease and atherosclerosis, and it also stimulates the immune system while strengthening the nervous system. In addition, it combines well with folic acid (B9), so they should be taken together.
"These micronutrients are essential to support the methylation reaction, which in turn repairs DNA and fights cancer, and plays an important role in lipid activity," the specialist said.
