What do you know about the Palestinian stalker Ibrahim Nabulsi, whose assassination Israel announced?

The Israeli army announced the assassination of the Palestinian stalker Ibrahim al-Nabulsi, whom Israel considers one of its most wanted men. Here's what we know about it.

The Israeli army announced on Tuesday that its forces had killed the Palestinian stalker, Ibrahim al-Nabulsi, in storming the Old City of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

The army said on its Twitter account: "At the end of a manhunt operation and a joint operation by the Israeli army and the Shin Bet security service, Ibrahim al-Nabulsi was killed this morning in a city in Nablus."

He added that Nabulsi is suspected of committing "several shooting attacks on civilians and soldiers from a patrol in and around Nablus, including shooting attacks on Joseph's Tomb complex."

And the occupation forces surrounded a house in the old city of Nablus since the morning hours, amid reports in the Hebrew media that the target was one of the most wanted men by Israel.

The young Ibrahim al-Nabulsi, one of the well-known Palestinian resistance fighters in Nablus, had survived several previous assassination attempts.

Last February, Nabulsi survived an assassination attempt carried out by the Israeli army's special forces, but they assassinated three of his comrades, and Nabulsi defied the Israeli army after he appeared at their funeral.

At the end of last July, Nabulsi evaded another military operation carried out by the Israeli army, after the siege of a house in the old city of Nablus, in which his two young companions, Aboud Sobh and Muhammad al-Azizi, were martyred.

Nabulsi continued to defy the Israeli army, as he participated in the funerals of his two martyred companions.

Despite his constant pursuit by the Israeli army, the Hebrew media claim that Nabulsi was behind the shooting attack that took place last June, and targeted the commander of the "Samaria" Brigade in the army, as he was wounded along with four Israeli settlers while storming the Joseph's Tomb area in Nablus.

Al-Nabulsi had said in a previous interview: "I am walking on the path of the martyrs, my companions in my path, and my friends who were assassinated by the Israeli force, and I refused to surrender, and they would only take me as an assassination."
