They wrote in his writings that Mehmet Reza Bekin, who was born in Hotan in 1925 with the help of his uncle Muhammad Emin Bugra and was sent to Turkey to study in 1934, was a capable diplomat, had worked for the Uyghurs for the rest of his life, and made the East Turkestan cause a national issue. He wrote that all the Uyghur people would remember him with gratitude.
Hamutkhan Köktürk, who has worked with General Mehmet Reza Bekin and the East Turkestan Foundation for many years, was interviewed by Mehmet Rıza Bekin, who grew up in the Turkish army as a general, dedicated his 30-year life after his retirement to the East Turkestan case and convened the East Turkestan National Congress in Istanbul in 1992. He stated that he had educated the students and that 40 people were working in the universities.
