What is the Arab country whose flag I will burn?
Some fans of hidden camera games ask a Palestinian citizen in the Gaza Strip to burn a paper on which the flag of an Arab country is drawn, in exchange for a monetary prize of one hundred dollars, but the young man denounces the request and rejects it, and when the program presenter insists on him, the young man adheres to his position, then pounces on him to slap him He does not stop until they tell him, laughing, that it is a joke and a hidden camera, so everyone embraces against the background of Mawtani Mawtani’s music very slowly, which gives the listener a shiver, and his tears may fall against his will, especially if he is an advanced person, this raises many mixed feelings for them, which they do not express Nothing but a hot tear rolling silently, followed by a smile to control feelings and return them to their balanced state. The scene carries with it many repercussions that cannot be enumerated, and the more involved the viewer is in political issues and the more informed the movement of history, its fluctuations and the course of its events, the more impact the scene will have on itself.
The presenters of these videos intend to highlight the feelings of the Palestinians towards the Arab peoples and their symbols, despite the urgent need and the difficult economic conditions in the besieged Gaza Strip in particular.
When someone is asked why he refuses to burn the paper on which the flag is drawn and that the flag can be drawn on another paper after burning it, he replies that this flag represents a dear dear people.
At the same time, there are hidden cameras asking some citizens from different Arab countries if they recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel! And the response is decisive, and sometimes aggressively towards the interviewer and even trying to break his phone, and all of them insist that Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine, and consider Israel an entity hostile to Arabs and Muslims.
In other scenes, the owner of the hidden camera claims that he works for an Israeli satellite channel, in a street or in a taxi in Cairo, and the response is contemptuous and in words of condemnation and refusal to deal with him.
Then it becomes the same; Because the result is the same.
I expect that there are clips from hidden camera videos that the creators of these programs do not publish, in which an Arab citizen accepts to insult Palestine and its leaders, and it is possible for a bankrupt Palestinian for months in the Gaza Strip, to burn the flag of any Arab country for a hundred dollars, including the flag of Palestine itself and the pictures of its leaders He may do this out of pain and in contempt for his pride, but I don't rule out that some do.
If I was Yemeni and my family was starving, for example, and I passed this test, I would ask for the flags of Arab countries, Iran, all Islamic countries, permanent members of the Security Council and European Union countries, to burn them.
If I was a Lebanese incapable of feeding my family, warming it and treating its patients, what kind of science would I sanctify more than my humanity?! I will ask for the flags of all the countries involved in the Lebanese affairs, and burn them.
And what if I was a Syrian displaced by necessity, which banner in the world would make me respect it more than respecting my pain, my pain and my dignity that was wasted on the roads of alienation and on the fences of borders between different countries!
What if you are from the Maghreb?! How am I going to act while corruption has become a nightmare on my chest.
What if I am Somali, Mauritanian, or Comorian, knowing how and where Arab money and wealth are wasted, while my family is on the brink of starvation?!
And what will be the position of the Egyptian who sees bundles of dirhams, pounds, and riyals raining on a dancer in Capri, while he arrives day and night to secure a loaf of bread and beans.
The truth that every Palestinian who has been displaced in the Arab countries knows and through his experience, is that the Arab peoples, without exceptions, treated him with respect and gave him opportunities to work and live, and considered him among their national, religious and humanitarian duties. This was evident in the first decades of the Nakba.
However, the Arab-Arab conflicts, the internal struggles over power and the involvement of the Palestinians in some of them, and the struggle for a livelihood for the sake of mere survival as a result of the impoverishment and plunder of peoples, made solidarity with the Palestinians a more complex issue with the passage of time. And the oppression of the Palestinians, and another exploits the issue to establish his rule and throne, and some have done the opposite in recent years, showing their affection for the occupying power and normalizing with it so that America patted him on his shoulder.
The truth is that the Arab peoples are far ahead of their regimes with regard to the Palestinian issue.
The Arab peoples aspire to peace like any other peoples in the world, and they have been subjected to distortion over the years, decades and centuries, and they are not hostile to the Jews or to others as human beings. Every deed is good and good, and does not belong to a belief in itself: “O people, we created you from a male and a female, and made you peoples and tribes so that you may know each other. Indeed, the most honorable of you with God is the most pious of you.”
In addition to this, the accumulation of experience through friction with other Arab and foreign peoples on a large scale, and the transformation of the world into one large city, made the truth clear to everyone without illusions or preconceived ideas, making human values a common denominator between the good and the benevolent of all nations, and made Racists and advocates of aggression are on the other side of the barricade, regardless of religious, national and other affiliations.
