The location of PWN 14 is the pioneer of the first Scout Village in Indonesia
The 14th National Wirakarya Camp (PWN) in Jambi Province has ended and the five villages where the 14th PWN is located have become the pioneers of the first Scout Villages in Indonesia.
"The village where the PWN is located is a pilot village for scouts and an example for other regions," said Deputy Chairman of the National Kwartir for the Scout Movement Youth Development Commission, Budi Prayitna in Jambi, Friday.
The 14th PWN in Jambi takes the concept of sustainable development, so that the implementation of the 2021 PWN is different from the previous PWN implementation. Where the 14th PWN is carried out starting from implementation planning, during implementation to post-implementation, it will continue to be carried out for the next three years.
There are 16 physical activities and 27 non-physical activities that have been carried out at the 14th PWN in Jambi.
In addition, the 14th PWN in Jambi Province prioritizes the development of Human Resources (HR) which is adapted to the development and needs of the community. Where 70 percent of the 14th PWN activities are non-physical community service and the other 30 percent are physical activities.
Jambi Governor Al Haris at the closing of the PWN hoped that enforcement scouts and Pandega who took part in the 14th PWN in Jambi were the pioneers of the COVID-19 health protocol in their respective regions.
"The 14th PWN was carried out by implementing health protocols, this was evidenced by the absence of PWN participants who were positive for COVID-19 during camp activities," said Al Haris.
In addition, Al Haris hopes that the development that has been carried out during PWN activities can be continued by the Village Government. In addition, for the next three years, PWN development activities will be evaluated, monitored and continued in stages.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Batanghari Muhammad Fadhil Arief said that the purpose of the 2021 PWN activity was to foster, mentally and physically develop enforcement scouts and Pandega in the midst of being implemented and the results were very useful for the community.
"We also hope that enforcement scouts and pandega can take the skills and abilities to provide communication," said Muhammad Fadhil Arief.
