Innovative idea charge your computer "wirelessly"
A technology based on wireless charging developed by the French startup Energysquare has tempted the Chinese technology and computer giant Lenovo to start marketing a charging group that uses this technology and is suitable for all types of laptops, and this is a change in the field of office work, according to what The French newspaper "Le Parisien" reported.
This patented technology under the name "Power by Connection" allows charging an electronic device without connecting it to the mains, but by placing it only on a charging surface. (INPI) in France in the Startup category.
Despite Apple's objection, the European Union demands the adoption of a unified charging cord for phones
In contrast to the charging solutions that have already been on the market for years, this new system developed and marketed by Energy Square is based on “connection” technology, that is, connecting two electrodes, one placed on a surface and the other inside the device to be charged, and the sensors on the surface instantly identify It depends on the type of device and the electrical intensity to be provided, and then transfers it to the other pole until reaching the battery,” as explained by the company’s founder, Timothy Lukizen.
The principle of connection allows the device to be charged without interference, overheating or power loss, and this provides the same efficiency and speed as a wired charger, and all that the user has to do is place the device on the charging surface to activate the power source.
Lokizen confirms that the French company's goal is "to become a reference in the field of charging, and the main challenge before it remains to convince a large number of electronic device manufacturers to integrate this technology into their devices."
"There are long sales paths that also require significant investments in research and development before this technology is profitable. Pending its integration into computers of other brands - other than (Lenovo) - we assure everyone that an intermediate charging system that is adaptable to all electronic devices is making its way steadily." .
And the CEO of the company indicates that the Chinese giant has already started marketing a product called the “Lenovo Go USB-C” wireless charging kit that consists of a charging base connected to the mains and an adapter that can be installed under laptop computers (all brands) And that the charging speed offered by the new product is similar to that of the traditional wired charger.
This shipping kit is sold on Lenovo's US website for about $200, is also available through the Chinese company's network of professional distribution partners, and will be available on all of its local websites by January 2022.
Under the new technology, the French newspaper confirms that it has become possible for one to imagine that in a few years - or perhaps less - it will not be necessary to connect his computer when he arrives at an office, meeting room or any other workplace, and all he will have to do is He put his personal computer on the charging table prepared for this purpose.
As for the questions of more cautious users about the effects of this new technology on the health of employees, the French developer, Energy Square, confirms that its equipment does not emit any electromagnetic waves, unlike traditional charging techniques, and this means that it is without significant risks.
