A number of regional heads in Aceh received the Sahabat LKBN ANTARA award

A number of regional heads and community leaders in Aceh received the Sahabat Perum Award from the National News Agency (LKBN) ANTARA 2021 in the context of ANTARA's 84th Anniversary, for their performance for the people of Aceh.

In addition to the award, at the moment of the 84th Anniversary of Perum LKBN ANTARA which was held in Banda Aceh, Monday night, a photo exhibition was also held with the title 'Aceh Tourism Rises in the Midst of a Pandemic.'

The award was handed over directly by the Director of Finance, HR and Risk Management of Perum LKBN ANTARA Nina Kurnia Dewi, and accompanied by the Head of the Aceh Bureau, Azhari, as well as opening a photo exhibition.

Head of LKBN ANTARA Aceh Bureau, Azhari said, the award was given to partners consisting of the Aceh Government to districts/cities, members of the Aceh DPR, business actors, figures, and also organizations engaged in the tourism sector.

Azhari also stated that the implementation of the photo exhibition was also a contribution from LKBN ANTARA in revitalizing the Aceh tourism sector.

"The photos that we exhibit are the results of ANTARA photojournalists who photograph nature and Aceh's tourism every day," said Azhari.

Azhari also emphasized that LKBN ANTARA, especially the Aceh Bureau, would continue to support local governments in reviving various economic sectors that have been hit hard by the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Director of Finance, Human Resources and Risk Management of Perum LKBN ANTARA Nina Kurnia Dewi said that ANTARA's LKBN has always received an assignment from the government as the executor of the

public service obligation (PSO) in the press sector.

Nina said that Perum LKBN ANTARA produces at least seven news products and their derivatives to spread information throughout Indonesia, even the world.

"As a national news agency, we produce at least 800 to 1,000 news stories a day, including articles, photo news, videos and infographics. In the future we will also produce news through podcasts," said Nina.

Nina said that ANTARA's LKBN continues to be enthusiastic in reporting and welcoming the future, especially since the Indonesian people have been waiting for ANTARA news.

"Perum LKBN ANTARA is present in all provinces in Indonesia, both Papua, to every border such as Natuna, ANTARA is also present there," he said.

Nina added, Perum LKBN ANTARA is a national media with the widest distribution network, including collaboration with news agencies in the world , such as Bloomberg,

Reuters, and various other foreign news agencies.

"Therefore, we can become a venue for coordination, promotion both within and outside the province. Take advantage of ANTARA to later become a media consultant," said Nina.

He added that the photos exhibited in the context of the 84th Anniversary may be meaningless without extraordinary support from all parties, especially within the government environment in the province of Aceh.

On this occasion, the Governor of Aceh in the text of his speech read by the Head of the Aceh Communications and Information Technology, Marwan Nusuf, said that LKBN ANTARA had guarded the existence of the Republic of Indonesia by publishing the Proclamation of 17 August 1945 to the whole world.

In every order of government, said Marwan, ANTARA's LKBN always persisted, where when print media was still dominant, ANTARA became the first supplier and almost all media in Indonesia.

"Not only Indonesia, his works have even been distributed to various foreign media offices," said Marwan Nusuf.

Marwan believes LKBN ANTARA will continue to fill the literacy spaces of various generations, especially in Aceh with content and information that can always inspire people.

"ANTARA journalists continue to work well, full of enthusiasm, in their professionalism to deliver true news and balanced information," said Marwan.

The award for Sahabat Perum LKBN ANTARA 2021 was given to the Governor of Aceh, leaders and members of the Aceh DPR, Mayor of Banda Aceh, Mayor of Sabang, Regent of Aceh Besar, Regent of South Aceh, Regent of Southwest Aceh, Regent of Nagan Raya, Regent of West Aceh, AND Regent Aceh Jaya.

Then, the Regent of East Aceh, the Acting Regent of Bener Meriah, the Regent of Central Aceh, the Director of Bank Aceh, PT Mifa Brothers, the Deputy Chair of the Aceh MPU, the Association of Indonesian Tourism Actors (ASPPI), the owner of the Sigantang Sira Abrar Muda tourist attraction, to the agricultural figure Amiruddin.

The awards are divided into several categories, such as partnerships and public information disclosure, concern for the eradication of moneylenders and usury, economic development and agriculture.

Then, concern for public health and sanitation, environmental preservation, the initiator of the first Pancasila santri congress in Indonesia, culture, tourism development to culture and customs.
