Digital Desk, New Delhi. November 10, 2025, Monday. A powerful explosion occurred in a car near the Red Fort in the capital Delhi, killing nine people. Security agencies are investigating. The Home Ministry has handed over the Delhi car bomb blast case to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Meanwhile, raids were conducted in various parts of the country, including Uttar Pradesh. Dr. Shaheen has been arrested from Faridabad. Shaheen is a resident of Lucknow and is Parvez's real sister. It is also being reported that Shaheen is the girlfriend of terrorist Dr. Muzammil. Muzammil has also been arrested from Faridabad.
ATS raids in Lucknow
Following Dr. Shaheen's arrest in Faridabad, raids were conducted at her Lalbagh residence in Lucknow and her old house in Daliganj. Shaheen's father was found there. He said, "My daughter is a doctor. She has spent her life serving the people. I don't believe she could be involved in any wrongdoing."
Dr. Shaheen was a doctor at Kanpur Medical College. She was involved in the formation of a women's terrorist brigade in India. Shaheen was also associated with the Jamaat-ul-Mominat (JeM) group, part of the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).
What is the Saharanpur connection?
Terrorist Dr. Adil was arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police from Saharanpur on November 6th. Following the Delhi blast, Dr. Adil's connection to the incident is now being investigated. Muzammil Ahmed was also arrested from Faridabad based on Adil's information. It is believed that the script for the Delhi blasts traveled from Jammu and Kashmir via Saharanpur to Delhi, where the terrorist attack was carried out.
Sleeper cells are active in Western UP!
The arrests of terrorist Dr. Adil Ahmed from Saharanpur and Azad from Shamli, Gujarat, who was linked to ISIS, have made it clear that sleeper cells are active. Intelligence agencies are on high alert following the arrests of suspected terrorists and Monday's Delhi bombings. Terrorist sleeper cells and their accomplices are on the radar in all districts of western Uttar Pradesh, including Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, and Meerut.
Who was arrested when?
Terrorist Dr Adil Ahmed, a resident of Anantnag, was arrested from Saharanpur on November 6.
On November 8, Azad, a resident of Shamli, associated with ISIS, was arrested from Ahmedabad.
In July also, Gujarat ATS had arrested four accused linked to Al Qaeda, including Zeeshan Ali of Meerut.
Over the past 15 years, nearly 100 terrorists have been arrested from western Uttar Pradesh. These include Ejaz Sheikh, Shahid Iqbal Bhatti, Umar Mohammad Usmani, his son Tanveer, Bilal Khan, Akshay Saini, Talib Ansari, and Asif Ali.
More than 200 ISI agents have also been arrested from various districts.
