During the patrol, he saw cars standing on the roadside for a long time and covered in dust, and asked them to be removed. He also gave instructions to seize them if they were not removed.

While starting the patrol, he shook hands with a girl student and asked about her well being. After this, he asked the women, men, shopkeepers and hawkers along the way to keep an eye on the parked vehicles and inform the police if they saw anything suspicious. He said that their names would remain confidential. He also encouraged the shopkeepers to install CCTV cameras. At the same time, Joint Police Commissioner Law and Order Ashutosh Kumar and DCPs of each zone also did separate foot patrolling.

Police Commissioner Raghubir Lal said that following the Delhi bombings, all police officers are patrolling sensitive and highly sensitive areas, including important establishments and religious sites. He said the public is expected to remain vigilant and immediately report any suspicious individuals or activities to the police.
