South Korean smartphone maker Samsung launched the Galaxy Book 5 in India on Friday. The laptop comes with a choice of Intel Core Ultra 5 or Core Ultra 7 processors. It features a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that delivers up to 12 TOPS (trillions of operations per second). The laptop features a 15.6-inch touchscreen display and features such as Circle to Search, powered by artificial intelligence (AI).

The base variant of this laptop is priced at ₹77,990. It is available in four variants with Intel Core Ultra 5 and Intel Core Ultra 7 processors. It is available in 16 GB or 32 GB of RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB of storage. It is available in a single grey colour. This laptop will be sold through Samsung 's exclusive stores and select authorized retail stores as well as e-commerce platforms. As an introductory offer, Samsung is offering customers a bank-based cashback of ₹10,000 and no-cost EMI options.

It can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 (255U) processor, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. Samsung claims that the Galaxy Book 5 offers up to 38 percent better graphics performance than its predecessor, the Galaxy Book 4. It also comes with Artificial Intelligence (AI) features like Circle to Search and AI Photo Remaster.
Connectivity options on the Galaxy Book 5 include two built-in HDMI ports, two USB Type-A ports, and two USB Type-C ports, a microSD slot, and an RJ45 port for LAN connections. Similar to the company's recently introduced Galaxy Book laptops, the laptop features a dedicated Copilot button. It offers a second screen for quick share, multi-control, and multi-device connectivity. The laptop is powered by a 61.2 Wh battery.
