Nubia is preparing to launch several flagship smartphones in China this month. While the company will launch the Red Magic 11 Pro and 11 Pro+ gaming phones on October 17, the camera-centric flagship Nubia Z80 Ultra will also be introduced by the end of the month. Ahead of the launch, the Nubia Z80 Ultra smartphone has appeared on Geekbench and 3C certification databases, revealing some of its key specifications and features. Earlier reports have claimed that this phone will not only offer strong performance but will also offer a truly full-screen experience with an under-display selfie camera.
The Geekbench listing reveals that the Nubia Z80 Ultra has the model number NX741J and will feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 16GB of RAM, and run on Android 16. According to the listing, it scored 3,646 in the single-core test and 10,404 in the multi-core test. Meanwhile, 3C certification (via Gizmochina ) has revealed details about its charger, which indicates a 94.5W output, although previous reports suggested that the device would support 90W wired charging.
Leaks suggest the Nubia Z80 Ultra could feature a 50-megapixel main camera with a 35mm lens, a 1/1.55-inch ultra-wide lens, and a periscope telephoto camera on the back. Interestingly, it will feature an under-display front camera, eliminating any notch or punch-hole on the screen.
The device is also expected to be powerful in terms of battery life. The Nubia Z80 Ultra will reportedly feature a 7,100mAh battery . The company is currently keeping other specifications under wraps, and they will be revealed at launch.
