Highlights

The Noise ColorFit Pro 4 works as a good notifier for your smartphone

It has a large, sharp screen and can change watchfaces to suit your mood.

This smartwatch isn't very good at fitness tracking

The trend for smartwatches has shifted significantly over the past few years. We now find affordable smartwatches with unique features like SpO2 tracking, high-resolution color screens, and the ability to receive notifications from various apps. One major trend in smartwatches is the Bluetooth calling function. The ability to place calls from your wrist is attracting customers, something that was once limited to premium smartwatches a few years ago.

In this Bluetooth calling game, Noise has launched its latest smartwatch, the ColorFit Pro 4. The ColorFit Pro 4 is priced at ₹3,499. At this price, this watch offers a wide range of features, including the ability to make and receive calls from your wrist, fitness and health tracking sensors, and up to 7 days of battery life. Is this the best affordable smartwatch you can buy right now? Let's find out in this review.

Noise ColorFit Pro 4 design and specifications

The rectangular dial style became popular with the Apple Watch series and is now being seen in affordable smartwatches as well. The Noise ColorFit Pro 4 features a rectangular dial with a 1.72-inch TFT LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 356x400 pixels and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The screen is sharp and detailed, making text and data easy to read. The

Noise ColorFit Pro 4 is available in six color options. My review unit came with a silver gray body and 22mm interchangeable silicone straps, which I think look quite attractive for the price. There is a thick border around the screen, but if you use a black background on your smartwatch, you'll rarely notice it in daily use.

The microphone is located on the right side of the watch, and a small speaker grille is located on the left side. Both are used for Bluetooth calling. There's a single button on the right side that rotates for navigation. At the bottom, there are optical sensors for heart rate and blood oxygen levels, along with contact points for a magnetic charger. The ColorFit Pro 4 has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The sales package includes a charging cable, some user manuals, and documentation. The smartwatch weighs 24.1 grams and uses Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity. It has an accelerometer sensor that enables the lift-to-wake gesture to wake the screen.

Noise ColorFit Pro 4 software and app

Like other affordable smartwatches, it features basic software that revolves around the device's hardware features. The watch also functions as a notifier, displaying a small preview of your smartphone's notifications and text message alerts on the screen. It also features a Bluetooth calling function, which transforms the watch into a Bluetooth microphone and speaker system when connected to your smartphone.

The Bluetooth calling function registers as a second Bluetooth device on your smartphone. Once paired with a second device, you can use your smartwatch to make and receive calls, just like you would with a Bluetooth audio device. To turn it off, simply disconnect the Bluetooth device from your smartphone. This doesn't break the connection with the watch, as it remains connected to the smartphone in low-energy mode as a separate device for synchronization and notifications.

Interestingly, the watch features functional and dynamic watchfaces. This feature is common on high-end smartwatches, but is not commonly seen on affordable smartwatches like this. Unfortunately, it doesn't have an Always On mode. The screen can be activated by pressing a button or using the lift-to-wake gesture; tapping the screen doesn't work when the watch is in standby.

Visible widgets and apps depend on the watchface, while the main functions can be seen on the home screen. My favorite watchface displayed steps, heart rate, and battery level. It also included buttons for the workout and activity screen, heart rate details, music remote, and phone dialer.

You can download several other watchfaces using the smartphone app, but they lack the benefits of dynamic watchfaces. The watch's user interface is clean and looks good on the sharp screen. Taps and swipes make it easy to access essential functions.

To access the list of apps, you can open the app drawer by pressing the physical button once. The apps included include Noise Health, Noise Buzz (Bluetooth calling app), Clock (stopwatch, timer, alarm), weather, stocks, flashlight, and watchfaces. You can't install any external apps, but you can run the NoiseFit app on your smartphone to load watchfaces.

The NoiseFit app is available on both Android and iOS and acts as a connection controller between your smartphone and watch. You can view fitness and health data in detail within the app after it's synchronized. You can modify notification alerts, auto heart rate monitoring, monitoring, weather settings, and more for the device, as well as update the firmware.

You can download and sync new watchfaces from your gallery, or create custom ones. The app has a nice layout and maintains a stable connection with the device. During our review, it synchronized data well and pushed notifications well.

Noise ColorFit Pro 4 performance and battery life

The Noise ColorFit Pro 4 serves as both an accessory and a good notifier for your smartphone. You get a large, sharp screen, the ability to change watchfaces based on your mood, and you can receive notifications from apps directly on the watch.

It also has a Bluetooth calling function, which worked well for me. The speaker and microphone are mediocre, so don't expect long conversations. It won't be easy either, as you'll need to hold your watch close to your face to talk. It's good for short calls, especially when you're out and about or working out and your smartphone is far away.

Fitness and health tracking on the Noise ColorFit Pro 4 isn't very accurate. In a 1000-step test, the watch counted 1075 steps. This difference increased over longer distances, with an extra 85 steps per 1000 steps when counting 1000 steps with the Apple Watch Series 5.

When comparing the two devices side-by-side, distance measurements were nearly identical to the Apple Watch, but the calorie count differed significantly. You get a variety of workout options, including several unique ones like Kabaddi and Kite Flying, but I only used walking workouts for tracking. Heart rate and blood oxygen tracking were quite accurate when sitting. Sleep tracking was also good for the basics. Overall, I wouldn't recommend the Noise ColorFit Pro 4 for fitness and health tracking.

The Noise ColorFit Pro 4's battery life is good compared to other smartwatches in this price segment. The smartwatch comfortably lasted for 6 days on a single charge, even though I was receiving a lot of notifications from my smartphone, occasionally tracking workouts, and using Bluetooth calling for a few minutes each day.

Our decision

When it comes to affordable smartwatches, the Noise ColorFit Pro stands out from other devices for several reasons. It offers good features, a sharp color screen, dynamic watchfaces, and Bluetooth calling. All these features are offered at a very low price, which is something that other devices with similar specifications don't offer at this price.

If you're on a tight budget and want a good-looking, feature-packed smartwatch, the Noise ColorFit Pro 4 is a good choice. However, keep in mind that it's not very good at fitness tracking. You can definitely buy it for its screen, Bluetooth calling feature, and design.
