In a post on China's microblogging platform Weibo, iQOO has stated that the new smartphone will have IP68 + IP69 ratings for dust-proof and moisture-resistant properties. The iQOO 15 will also feature a new-generation 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, which was previously found on the iQOO 13. Recently, iQOO revealed the charging capabilities of the upcoming smartphone. This will be the company's first smartphone to support wireless charging. The iQOO 15 is expected to feature a battery with a capacity of over 7,000 mAh.

The smartphone will feature a 6.85-inch 2K 8T LTPO Samsung display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 6,000 nits of full-screen brightness. Recently, during a gaming livestream, iQOO Product Manager Galan V shared photos of actress Zhao Lusi using the iQOO 15 on Weibo. iQOO's Weibo account also reposted a user's post mentioning the smartphone, hinting at an imminent launch of the iQOO 15 in China. The smartphone may feature a gaming chip developed by the company.
iQOO recently introduced the Z10 Lite 4G. This smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 685 chipset. It features a 6.67-inch (1,080 × 2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 60 Hz to 120 Hz. The iQOO Z10 Lite 4G is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 44 W charging. Previously, this Vivo sub-brand launched the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G in India.
