Benefits of GST 2.0 and sub-4 meter SUV
In the government's new GST 2.0 structure, the tax slab on B-segment vehicles, i.e. SUVs smaller than 4 meters with petrol engines up to 1.2L or diesel engines up to 1.5L, has been reduced from 29–31% to 18%. This is why the biggest impact of this change is seen in the compact SUV segment. Mahindra has decided to give this benefit to its customers immediately, so that buyers will get the savings about two weeks in advance.
