Now the journey on modern highways like Delhi-Mumbai Expressway is not only going to be fast but also comfortable. Under this service started in partnership with the Ministry of Road Transport and Indian Oil Corporation, drivers will get AC room, bed, washroom, bathroom, Wi-Fi, clean and hygienic food and safe place to stay for only Rs 112. Not only this, if a driver fills 50 liters or more of diesel at a time, then he will be given this entire facility absolutely free. This service has been started at several points on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway for now and will soon be extended to other national highways. "Apna Ghar" rest stations have been set up at major Indian Oil petrol pumps to provide drivers a place to rest as well as refuel. One station has a capacity of about 35 beds and according to NHAI, 50-60% bookings are happening daily, which clearly shows the popularity of the scheme.
