Amazon is replacing the Prime Invite program with Amazon Family, which gives customers the benefit of free two-day delivery along with many other benefits like exclusive deals and movies, with the facility to share with up to four profiles. 


According to a CNBC report, Amazon is bringing a new family program , under which Prime members can share free shipping and other benefits with 1 adult, 4 children and up to 4 people added before April 7, 2025. All users who have the same primary address will be able to avail this benefit.


What was the Amazon Invite Program

Amazon Prime membership allowed members to share free two-day shipping with another person in their household, even if their primary addresses were different. This allowed two people with the same Prime account to enjoy fast delivery to different addresses at no additional cost. This benefited people who knew each other but did not live at the same address.
