Pranav Kumar is a biologist, author, and educational entrepreneur recognized for revolutionizing life sciences education in India. He studied at Patna Science College and subsequently pursued advanced studies at JNU, Delhi. As a former faculty member at Jamia Millia Islamia, he identified the necessity for student-friendly resources, which led to his landmark book, Life Sciences: Fundamentals and Practice. He has co-authored several other textbooks and founded Pathfinder Academy in 2005 and Pathfinder Publication in 2007. In 2018, he established the Pathfinder Research and Training Foundation (PRTF) to connect academics with research, initiating programs in research and training in bioinformatics, as well as an MBA in Agribusiness.
