Washington:US President Joe Biden is excited to visit India in September and 2024 is going to be a 'big year' for India-US relations. This was stated by Donald Lu, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia. He said India's leadership in the G-20 has further broadened its ability to stand as a force for good in the world.  Donald Lu said in a media interview on Thursday, “It is going to be a big year. Obviously, but India is hosting the G-20. This year America is hosting APEC. Japan is hosting the G-7. Many of our Quad members are taking leadership roles and this provides an opportunity for all of us to bring our countries closer."  He said, “I know that our President is excited to visit India in September. This will be his first visit to India for the G-20 leaders' summit. We are really excited about the developments in the coming few months. Took part in the conversation. This was the first such public discussion with the foreign ministers of the Quad.  "We are really grateful for the wonderful job that India did in hosting the G-20 Foreign Ministers meeting last month, and we look forward to actively participating in many more G-20 meetings this year," he said. Including the New Delhi leadership conference to be held in September.
