Find out where the teams participating in the 2022 World Cup will be located  The 32 teams participating in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar will be able to live in camps that are the closest to each other since the inaugural edition of the tournament in 1930.  Each team will reside in the same facility throughout the competition, as there is no need to transport missions on domestic flights, and this edition of the tournament will also feature the ability of teams to use official training sites the day before their matches.  The process of selecting the camps for the participating teams started in October 2019, by organizing 162 inspection visits to select the headquarters of the teams participating in the World Cup qualifiers, until it was settled on these camps that meet all the needs of the participating teams.  The national team camp is the headquarters of the participating team while they are at the World Cup, a term that combines a training venue with a hotel, or other form of accommodation.  Different locations The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, the organizer of the tournament, provided in Qatar 3 types of training sites used during the tournament, namely: local sports club facilities, group training centers, and training places in stadiums. Many of them have been built from scratch, and some have been renovated, and will be an integral part of the football legacy after the World Cup.  The teams’ camps consist of 4-star and 5-star hotels, villas, resorts and non-hotel accommodations, such as sports academies buildings, school dormitories and university residences, in addition to other facilities such as treatment rooms, all of which were distinguished by their ability to protect the teams’ privacy and were provided with all necessary safety protocols.
