How to Activate Dark Mode in Google Search

The setting you get as a third option syncs the appearance setting for Google Search with your computer's default theme. With this you can also set a time for turning on / off dark mode. The post also mentioned that the new dark mode settings have started rolling out to users on September 9 and will be gradually available to all users in the coming weeks.
How to activate Dark Mode in Google Search
The announcement states that the new appearance settings will be applicable for the Google homepage, search result page, search settings, and other linked webpages. The device default setting automatically matches the color scheme of the device. The Dark setting shows light text on a dark background and the Light setting does the opposite. Gadgets 360 was also able to change the appearance setting on Google Search. Dark Mode on Google Search can be activated by following these steps.
-Open Google Search by typing google.com in your web browser .
-In the lower right corner of the Google Search homepage, click Settings .
-Then click on Appearance ; If it is not visible under Settings then click on Search Settings and then click on Appearance from the left panel of the page that opens.
-Choose any of Device Default , Dark or Light andclick on Save at thebottom.
-Google first started testing the Dark Mode feature for Google Search on desktop in December 2020. Google Search on mobile has dark mode since May 2020.
